Choreographer/director David Gordon and Pick Up Performance Co(s) will hold auditions Saturday, January 25, and Sunday, January 26, 2014, for volunteers in the development of Gordon’s POLITICAL SHENANIGANS: dancing w/ Brecht & Eisler.
Auditions will run from 2:00 to 5:00 pm, on the 2nd floor of the University of the.Arts building at 1401 Walnut Street (corner of Broad and Walnut Streets in Center City Philadelphia). Rubber-soled shoes or sneakers are required.

speak and sing
walk and run (backward and forward)
change character onstage with minimal costume change
work with visual devices (metal folding chair, rolling table/door frame/ladder, etc.)
do two or more actions while speaking or singing
Volunteers should be available to participate in all the POLITICAL SHENANIGANS sessions over March 5-23, 2014, at Christ Church Neighborhood House in Old City Philadelphia. Sessions will run:
- Wednesdays-Fridays, 7:00-10:00 pm
- Saturdays, 12:00-6:00 pm, with an open rehearsal in the last hour and a half
- Sundays, 12:00-5:00 pm
