Register now for the final Open Rehearsal of New York choreographer/director David Gordon’s POLITICAL SHENANIGANS: dancing w/ Brecht & Eisler Workshop – Saturday, March 22, from 3:00 to 5:00 pm, at Christ Church Neighborhood House in Philadelphia!
Joining Gordon, his Pick Up Performance company members, and the 11 Philadelphia participants in the Workshop is former Village Voice lead drama critic Michael Feingold, whose translation of Bertolt Brecht’s The Roundheads and the Pointheads (with music by Hanns Eisler) Gordon is using as he crafts this element of his living archive.
Open Rehearsals are informal, and audience may come and go as is convenient. Time for questions follows a showing of material that the artists have been refining over the week.
